Hello Again

It has been 3 months since I posted anything here. I was doing pretty good for a while and then the summer hit. My entire routine was thrown off, I stayed at my parents house for most of the summer and I did not have as much daily structure to my life. I was also helping my parents remodel their house, so I learned a lot and was also exhausted a lot.
I enjoy posting on here because it is always interesting to go back and read my posts. Over this past year I have done a lot of personal growth in many different aspects of my life. I mean this is kind of bound to happen as you make the transition from college to your grown up life. I have worked hard on creating a work-life balance, as a teacher it can be hard to not let your classroom overtake your life. I have done pretty good with this.
So between my growth and the learning I have done I probably have a bunch of posts I could create. I am unsure of if you (if there is even anyone who reads this) just want to read about my life in general or if you want me to try to focus on a certain topic. I am fine with either. Some of the topics that I have grown the most in are fitness, "healthier" eating, teaching, and personal finance. If you have an opinion about my posts please leave a comment below I would love to hear from you and hear what you have been up to.

Hello Again

So it has been six months since I have posted on here. I would apologize, but I do not think that anyone actually reads this or missed my posts. I am going to try to post more because I really do enjoy just getting things about life off of my chest. It makes me feel better, especially the things that I do not necessarily want to tell anybody about. So time to catch you up on what has happened in my life in the past six months.

1) I finished my hardest semester of school. I took 20 credits of Education classes and I am still shocked I survived. It was stressful and crazy, but it also showed me the amazing people I have in my life. It also showed me what I can accomplish when I set my mind to it. That being said this means that I only have one semester of classes left and then one semester of student teaching.

2) I took a test that I have to pass to get my teaching license. The most stressful part about it is waiting for my scores (so hopefully you will see a celebration post soon).

3) I had new experiences with my friends and we got a lot better at driving into the city.

4) I started at a new location for my summer job. So I have been working to make it as successful as possible. For the parade and carnival we put on our theme is African Safari, so let me know if you have any ideas.

5) I turned 21!!! Which was exciting although since my semester was so stressful it was a pretty chill event. I just went out and got my free margarita and then went to bed so I could wake up for class in the morning.

6) My brother's senior year basketball and baseball season both ended at the state tournament. They were both amazing experiences to be a part of and it was extremely exciting.

Those are the huge things that have happened to me. I will try to post more frequently if anybody does read this. If you do read I would love to receive a comment or email from you :)

My Classes

I am taking seven classes this semester which is pretty crazy. My schedule is a little different than your typical college schedule. As many of you know more of your classes meet Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday. Well I have one class that meets Tuesday/Thursday and the rest of my classes meet once a week for a three hour block (Except for one of my classes that meets four times during the semester for four hours each time). I am taking my Early Childhood classes so that is interesting. It is defineitely a different schedule type to get used to though especially when planning out your homework. But school has been going pretty well. I have only had each class either once or twice so I am not quite ready to tell you how I feel about the classes yet.
