Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day, mothers are an amazing gift we were all blessed with. I think this day can be used to celebrate any women who affected your life in a positive way. Let her know you appreciate her. Go give your mom a giant hug and say thank you. I have decided to compile a list of the things my mother has done for me, taught me, and even shown me for when I become a mother in the future.

1) She has been there whenever I have needed her.
2) She has loved me even when I have been awful to her.
3) She is my biggest cheerleader.
4) She chauffeured me and my friends around for many years and never complained.
5) She cooked for me and did my laundry.
6) She helped me with school projects.
7) She showed me what unconditional love is.
8) She got less sleep to help me.
9) She gave me things I wanted, even when that meant giving up things she wanted.
10) She always tells me I am beautiful.
11) She will listen to me complain.
12) She lets me pick out the movie and the food.
13) She gives me the last bite.
14) She always comforts me when I cry.

There are a billion other things that my mom has done for me and I could not be any more thankful. The most important thing I have realized as I have gotten older is my mom truly is my best friend. She loves me no matter what, she does not talk about me behind my back, she has my back, she laughs and cries with me, and no matter what if I need her she will find someway to be there for me. I Love You Mom!!!

A band called 513free came to my college campus to perform. They are a Christian band with a very mission focused mind set. They are willing to minister to the people in the world that many people overlook. They do a lot with prison ministries and rehab programs. There is music is amazing and it is also free. They do not believe that Jesus charged people to listen to the Gospel so they do not want to charge people either. Their music is amazing. It is May

It is May which means it is crazy busy. I have a week of school and then finals and then I will be home for the SUMMER! I could not be more excited that I get to be home for the summer. The only problem is the fact that I still have two weeks of school stuff left. Today the weather is amazing and that makes it even worse because I have no motivation. I also still have homework to do which is also awful. I have some tips though for finishing the school year.

1) Give yourself breaks to go outside
2) Cherish the time with your friends
3) Still focus on school

Birthday Weekend

My 20th birthday was on Saturday and that was pretty exciting. My family came and took me and my roommates to lunch. It was super nice seeing them and getting to eat food that was not on campus. Then my friends blindfolded me and surprised me and took me to dinner and bowling. This meant an entire day not eating food on campus which I am all for. Then we came back to our dorm and watched movies.

My friends were super amazing and made me feel awesome. It was a birthday that I will never forget. I am excited to spend more time with them these next two years. I have really found a place that I fit in and I am loving it.

EXCITING NEWS!

Well I have some exciting news to share with anyone who reads this. I have recently decided to become a Mary Kay Consultant. I am super excited about this. So if anyone would like any information about anything relate to Mark Kay let me know. This is a new thing so I am still learning. But this is so so exciting. I am excited to learn more about everything about it. AHHHH! So there will probably be a lot of posts on here about it so that I do not annoy my friends. Of course you are my friends too. I will try to attach some pictures of my stuff in the next post.

I am excited to be my own boss and get to control this.

Just a bit of Stress

As the year comes closer to a close I find myself getting more and more stressed. I always feel like I have to be doing homework or studying. I am also getting annoyed with smaller things. I interviewed for the second portfolio I have to complete and the lady said they would be graded in a week. That was two weeks ago and she has not even opened mine yet to begin to look at it. I do not care that it takes a while but do not make promises that you cannot keep. Another professor has not emailed me back about some very important things that I need to know about very soon.

It is funny though how the people who realize you are stressed are often not the people who are closest to you. Today, one of the guys in my science class asked if I was stressed because I just seemed a little tense. This is interesting because none of my friends noticed it and I was able to say yes I am kind of stressed.

As the year comes to a close I am excited because I need a break but, I am also freaking out because I have quite a bit to get done. That is okay though I am not super far behind, I will have enough time. Now off to work and then to do make homework. The joys of being a busy college student.

Catching Up

Hey sorry it has been so long (I may just be apologizing to myself who knows). My life has been crazy but I will catch you up and hopefully find time to write more often because I really do enjoy it. Well the first thing that happened is Spring Break. My Spring Break ended up being very busy. I did three days at a school for my college clinical hours and then I spent the rest of the time at a huge basketball tournament that my brother was in.

I went back to school and was crazy busy. I presented my portfolio for the Education program and I had a ton of projects. It was crazy I felt like I had zero free time. This has lead to me using my Easter Break to work on homework so that I can feel a little bit ahead. The end of the school year is coming extremely fast!!!

The thing that I am most excited about it something that I ordered and it is on its way to my house. A while ago I saw a YouTube video about Young Living Essential Oils and I am not going to lie I was extremely intrigued. The only problem was that I was not sure that I should spend the money because it is kind of expensive. Then I saw another video and decided to go for it. I signed up and got my Premium Starter Kit. I have been watching a ton of videos and am really excited. I am not ready to make any comments about the oils because I do not have mine but you can expect some posts about it coming up.

If anyone reads this and is familiar with Young Living Essential oils comment below and give me some advice because I have no clue. If anyone is intrigued just like I was I can make a post about some videos to watch and I can do more posts once I get more familiar with my oils. I would even be willing to do a post just showing what comes with my Premium Starter Kit and explaining pricing. Just let me know.
